CRITERIA FOR CAMSTAR SILVER MEMBERSHIP

CRITERIA FOR CAMSTAR SILVER MEMBERSHIP

Silver membership is open to any school, through application. To be approved, an application must address the following:

CAMSTAR SILVER ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

ESSENTIAL

CRITERIA

IN PROGRESS or COMPLETE

Endorsement of Head

Nomination of CamSTAR Coordinator

Viable number of staff researching according to school size

Commitment to complete research projects

An application is then not automatically approved but is evaluated, through discussion with the school, according to school culture and intent regarding research engagement. We are seeking for genuine commitment towards developing a research culture within the school.

Note: If an existing CamSTAR Silver Membership school does not maintain a teacher research culture at an appropriate level, CamSTAR reserve the right to re-evaluate their membership level and request that they plan a clear set of actions and timeline to meet the requirements, or even cease to be a CamSTAR member, as appropriate. If a CamSTAR school decides to withdraw from CamSTAR during the academic year, the membership fee for that year is non-refundable.
