CamSTAR® is a network of schools who work together to support school-based Teacher Research and / or Continuing Professional Development (CPD), the latter termed here 'CamSTAR Professional Dialogue', with a flexible structure focussed on core over-arching themes enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and through Teacher Mini-Research Projects. The network is international, across the whole of the UK and international schools round the world. The work is carried out in the English language in all schools.

The philosophy that underpins CamSTAR® is straightforward – Teacher Knowledge is at the heart of effective teaching and learning, and the professional right of teachers to engage with, generate and disseminate such knowledge is paramount for teachers’ continuing professional development.
